Bottle Orientation Recommendations<\/i><\/span><\/div><\/a><\/div>
  • A. Best position for all types of vehicles.<\/li>\n
  • B. Best alternative to position \u201cA\u201d.<\/li>\n
  • C. Satisfactory.<\/li>\n
  • D. NOT RECOMMENDED. System will not function at maximum effectiveness under extreme braking conditions.<\/li>\n
  • E. NOT RECOMMENDED. System will not function at maximum effectiveness if valve is inverted.<\/li>\n

  • Remote cables must be installed in a manner so they are protected from damage due to mechanical failure of other vehicle components or a collision.<\/li>\n
  • Be sure no bend radius is less than six inches.<\/li>\n
  • CAUTION: Protect cable from crimping or kinking.<\/li>\n
  • The unit is shipped with a safety pin tin place to prevent accidental discharge. This pin should also be used in transporting or storing vehicle. CAUTION: When using the cable, the system will not fire when safety pin in place.<\/li>\n
  • Be certain 1\u2033 cable extension (Figure #3 Below<\/a>) passes through the plunger (Figure #2 Below<\/a>) located in center of activating head. This can be checked by seeing if \u201cT\u201d handle is butted securely against cable shaft (Figure #4 Below<\/a>).<\/li>\n
  • Secure excess cable to roll cage, etc. with cable ties.<\/li>\n
  • When you are ready to \u201carm\u201d the system remove the safety pin from the activating head. With pin removed pulling \u201cT\u201d handle will cause the system to fire. When you are ready to \u201cDisarm\u201d the system replace the safety pin into the activating head. With the pin in place the system will not fire when \u201cT\u201d handle is pulled.<\/li>\n
  • Locate (E) decal near \u201cT\u201d handle to determine location of fire extinguisher for safety crew.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
  • CABLE ACTIVATED MODELS: With cable installed, arm the system by removing safety pin. To activate the system, pull handle HARD! The system will discharge continuously until the bottle is empty.<\/li>\n
  • PUSH MODELS: Remove safety pin located in plunger shaft. Strike black activating knob HARD!<\/li>\n
  • AUTOMATIC MODELS: Plum line to cockpit of fuel cell. Remove pink boot and the bulb will go off at set temperature.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
  • Valve assemblies and\/or remote cables must be kept clean and lubricated to prevent corrosion and assure their proper function.<\/li>\n
  • Distribution tubing should be checked frequently to assure it is clear and not obstructed with dirt or other foreign material.<\/li>\n

  • Bottle is recommended to be mounted in Mounting Point A or Mounting Point B.<\/li>\n
  • Bottle ships with 2-1.5\u201d roll bar mounts.<\/li>\n
  • Two automatic lines, one line is to be run into the drivers\u2019 compartment and the other to be run into the fuel cell area.<\/li>\n
  • When cleaning car make sure to cover nozzles to prevent from accidental discharge and\/or clogging of nozzle.<\/li>\n
  • The AMRC-1002 also has the ability for manual discharge with 3 nozzles, 1 recommended for the cockpit and the other 2 for the engine bay.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

  • Place safety pin back in the activating head<\/li>\n
  • Loosen set screw, remove cable and discharge line<\/li>\n
  • Unscrew activating head off system counter-clockwise with safety pin still installed<\/li>\n
  • Remove safety pin once activating head is off system and spray head with lubricating grease<\/li>\n
  • Work around firing pin and reset safety pin by pushing the firing pin back up then replace safety pin<\/li>\n
  • Blow out discharge lines with air hose and ensure nothing is blocking nozzles<\/li>\n
  • Check pull cable to ensure it is not damaged or stopped by debris<\/li>\n
  • Once all have been checked and lubricated, replace activating head back on system until snug<\/li>\n
  • Replace discharge tubing, pull cable in activating head, and tighten set screw on cable housing<\/li>\n

    ENSURE CABLE IS SECURED AND COMING OUT THE BACK OF THE ACTIVATING HEAD BEFORE REMOVING SAFETY PIN<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
