FUEL CELL & TRAILER GUARD  

These systems re designed for reliable, low-cost, automatic fire protection. They are completely self-contained extinguishers that require no piping or electrical power. Maintenance consists only of periodic visual inspection of the pressure gauge and recharging as necessary. Originally designed for use in trailers these units provide excellent fuel cell coverage in any car, or truck.

Here’s how it works: The thermal release head is a sprinkler. When the bulb fractures, at 135 degrees F – 300 degrees F, the head opens and discharges the extinguishant. Thermatic extinguishers offer reliable protection in any environment where electrical, chemical, liquid, gas, or mechanical conditions may cause combustion.

Halon 1211: We use the Halon 1211 in our trailer Gards. The unit is then pressurized with nitrogen to 195 PSI and is rated effective for Class A (carbonaceous material), Class B (flammable liquids) and Class C (electrical) fires.

If, in the judgment of Safety Systems, Inc., a product or part thereof be proven defective in material or workmanship within one year from date of original purchase, defects will be repaired or replaced without charge. To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of this limited warranty, the products must be delivered transportation paid to Safety Systems, Inc. Retail customers are advised that automobile racing is a dangerous sport and products are subject to failure when exposed to the high stresses involved. Safety equipment is related directly to the manner in which it is installed, used, and/or maintained. The user assumes that risk. No warranty or representation is made as to the product’s ability to protect from serious injury or death, which may result from circumstances beyond our control. This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, and no person or representative is authorized to assume for Safety Systems, Inc. any other liability in connection with the sales of Safety Systems’ products.
